Corporate Finance Intern

Job Description

Are you a Bachelor or Master student with a strong interest in financial decision-making? Join our Corporate Finance team and gain hands‑on experience supporting high‑impact strategic and financial projects. In this role, you will gain exposure to investment analyses, (debt) financing, financial modelling, and strategic business assessments.

You are available for at least two days per week for a period of three to twelve months, with a flexible start date. We are open to supporting various internship structures.

Fugro is the world’s leading Geo‑data specialist, operating in 57 countries. We provide essential insights for infrastructure, energy, and environmental projects.

Your role

• You will learn how to apply analytical thinking and financial insights to help guide key strategic decisions and support long‑term value creation;

•  You will support the team by preparing financial analyses, developing valuation models, and transforming data into clear insights;

• You will help prepare clear insights and presentations for senior stakeholders;

• You will work closely with teams across finance, strategy, and operations to deliver well‑rounded solutions.

Your trackrecord

• You are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program, preferably in Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field, and maintain a minimum average grade of 7.0;

• You are comfortable working with complex issues and maintaining a structured, detail‑oriented approach;

• You have a basic understanding of financial statements, key performance indicators and cash flow dynamics;

• You possess strong Excel skills, including experience in financial modelling, and you are familiar with translating financial insights into clear (PowerPoint) storylines;

• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken (Fluency in Dutch is an advantage).
