Position Summary
The Junior Corporate Finance Associate will provide critical support to the Director of Corporate Finance and the broader finance team in all aspects of the fundraising process. This includes preparing investor materials, conducting financial analysis and market research, managing due diligence, and assisting in the execution of capital raises (debt, equity, and other instruments). The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter with a solid foundation in financial modeling, a keen interest in capital markets, and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Preparation & Execution:
Assist in the development, maintenance, and quality control of sophisticated financial models (integrated P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to support valuation, capital structure analysis, and transaction scenarios.
Contribute to the creation and refinement of compelling investor presentation materials ("pitch books"), investment memoranda, teasers, and management presentations.
Support the preparation of due diligence materials and coordinate responses to investor queries (data room management).
Conduct research on potential investors, lenders, and market trends to help identify and prioritize fundraising targets.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
Prepare periodic internal reporting on fundraising pipeline, investor engagement, and market conditions for senior management.
Analyze company and industry financial data to craft persuasive narratives for the investment thesis.
Deal Support & Process Management:
Track and manage the fundraising process timeline, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.
Assist in coordinating communications with investment banks, legal counsel, and other external advisors.
Help prepare materials for and participate in (as required) management meetings with potential investors and lenders.
Market & Investor Intelligence:
Monitor capital market activity, interest rate environments, and financing trends relevant to the company's sector.
Research and profile existing and potential investors to understand their mandates and investment criteria.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with excellent GPA.
Experience:1-2 years of experience in a relevant field such as Big 4, Investment Banking is essential.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
Excellent or Native English speaking skills are required.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise formats.
Fresh Graduates with relevant internship experience are welcomed
