Position Overview:

Anaqua is looking for a highly motivated attorney with 1-3 years’ experience with an interest in a career in an in-house legal department at a fast-paced technology company. You will be joining a small legal team with an opportunity to assist in a wide variety of software licensing transactions, privacy and security and general corporate areas.  This is a hybrid role with expectations of being in our Boston corporate office 3 days per week.

You’ll love this job if you like to:

Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of agreements including international cloud software agreements, master services agreements, sales licensing agreements, amendments, NDAs, Data Processing Agreements and vendor agreements.

Ensure compliance with security, export control, sanctions and privacy regulations.

Assist with employee-related/HR matters.

Assist with pre-litigation claims and litigation matters related to contracts.

Assist with corporate governance matters for subsidiaries.

Draft and maintain internal security, export control, sanctions, ESG and privacy policies.

Assist in M&A acquisitions and post-acquisition integrations.

Assist with real estate transactions.

What you’ll need to be successful:

Bachelor’s degree, J.D. from an accredited law school and current license to practice law in Massachusetts.

1-3 years of corporate legal experience in a law firm or in house setting.

Intellectual property coursework or experience a plus.

The total rewards package for this role is expected to include an annual salary between $100,000–$140,000, determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. Additional compensation may include a comprehensive benefits package.
