Preferred

• At least 6 years of experience working on Core Java, Spring, hibernate.
• At least 4 years of experience with development and re-engineering of existing application to incorporate unit tests and functional tests.
• Unix/python/perl scripting.
• Knowledge of any batch scheduler (Autosys, Control+M etc).
• Ability to work and coordinate with members offshore.
• Good database skills to define queries and stored procedures (oracle).
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Investment bank experience (basic knowledge is a must.
• Aggressive and ability to work on high pressure environment (target oriented approach).
• Ability to support multiple applications when escalated for development team investigation.
• In depth knowledge on various open source libraries needed for a standard integration project.
• Experience with test driven development
• Ability to break up complex design into phased approaches
• Strong leadership skill and good team player
• At least 6 years of experience in software development life cycle.
• At least 6 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience to capital markets domain
• Analytical skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Basic

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
