The Core Banking Assurance Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of products and services administered through the organization’s core banking system. This position is responsible for reviewing and auditing product setup, account maintenance, and service delivery to ensure alignment with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards. The role supports continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen product integrity and enhance member service quality.
What You’ll Do:
Operational Delivery & Audit
Conduct regular audits of product and service configurations to confirm accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Identify system errors, exceptions, or deviations from policy and coordinate corrective actions with operational, branch, and support teams.
Document findings, trends, and resolutions to support tracking, reporting, and quality assurance activities.
Monitor recurring issues and support root cause analysis to reduce rework and improve efficiency.
Support the development and maintenance of quality assurance tools and reports.
Collaborate with branch and operational teams to strengthen process adherence and reduce recurring issues.
Assist with departmental initiatives and provide system-related support to staff through the service ticketing platform.
Project & Change Support
Review, test, and validate new or updated products and services prior to implementation.
Confirm product structures and parameters align across systems during standardization initiatives.
Participate in cross-functional discussions to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and service improvements.
Support data integrity activities related to system enhancements or configuration changes.
What You Bring:
Education & Experience
Completion of secondary education.
Post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is considered an asset.
Minimum of three years’ experience working with financial products and services.
Experience using core banking systems and working with third-party service providers.
Strong understanding of product configuration, setup requirements, and system limitations.
Broad knowledge of retail and commercial deposit, lending, and investment products.

Salary Range: $58,700 - $69,000

Bondability Requirement: Candidates must be bondable under a fidelity bond policy (includes a criminal and credit check).
