Job Overview
The Copywriting Executive will be responsible for crafting high-converting, brand-aligned copy across multiple channels, including SEO-driven blogs, performance marketing ads, CRM emails, and brand campaigns. This role requires a strategic thinker with a flair for persuasive storytelling, a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Copywriting
Write, edit, and optimize SEO-friendly blog articles to drive organic traffic and engagement.
Craft compelling ad copies for performance marketing (Meta, Google Ads, etc.) that align with conversion goals.
Develop brand-centric content for social media, websites, and campaigns while maintaining SQUATWOLF’s bold, motivational voice.
Create email copies for CRM campaigns (promotional, lifecycle, and transactional emails) to boost retention and conversions.
Collaborate with designers to ensure copy and visuals are cohesive.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with SEO teams to integrate keywords naturally into content.
Support the Performance Marketing team with A/B testing for ad copies to refine messaging.
Assist the Brand Marketing team in developing taglines, campaign concepts, and storytelling assets.
Partner with the CRM team to personalize email content based on customer segments.
3. Brand Consistency & Optimization
Ensure all copy adheres to SQUATWOLF’s tone, style, and brand guidelines.
Proofread and refine existing content for clarity, grammar, and impact.
Stay updated on industry trends (fitness, e-commerce, DTC) to suggest fresh copy angles.
Qualifications & Skills
2-3 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in e-commerce, DTC brands, or digital marketing agencies.
Portfolio showcasing SEO content, ad copies, email marketing, and brand storytelling.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and keyword integration.
Familiarity with performance marketing best practices (CTAs, audience targeting).
Ability to write in a conversational yet persuasive tone for fitness audiences.
Proficiency in Grammarly, Google Docs, and CMS tools (e.g., Shopify, WordPress).
Basic knowledge of CRM platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp) is a plus.
Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and adaptable to feedback.
