Key Responsibilities
•
Copyedit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, accuracy, consistency, tone, and regulatory compliance.
•
Update and refine content to ensure accurate display across multiple formats and channels.
•
Monitor and apply compliance language updates, ensuring proper integration across materials.
•
Verify facts and statistics, ensuring all content is error-free.
•
Recommend edits and improvements based on your understanding of the target audience.
•
Maintain and apply updates from editorial style guides (AP Style, Chicago Manual of Style) and internal brand standards.
•
Lead the growth and development of the editorial roles within Wizeline.
Must-have Skills
• 3–5 years of professional copyediting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a strong command of grammar, syntax, and presentation clarity.
• Working knowledge of financial and investment concepts.
• Proficiency in markup and in applying editorial style guidelines, including AP Style and The Chicago Manual of Style.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with strong process orientation and organizational abilities.
• Ability to resolve moderately complex issues and escalate as appropriate.
• Skilled in following production schedules, tracking deliverables, and managing shifting priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and experience working across diverse teams.
Nice-to-have
•
AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
•
Experience with Workfront.
•
Experience in the finance industry or other highly-regulated sectors (e.g., pharmaceuticals, legal)
• Familiarity with AI-powered editorial tools and content automation technologies.
