What you’ll be responsible for…
You'll be supporting the Events and Activations Manager in bringing strategic events and activations to life — from roadshows to conferences and everything in between. This means coordinating all the moving parts, managing stakeholder relationships, organising marketing materials, and ensuring the travel arrangements are spot-on.
A big part of your role will be keeping our Events and Activations calendar on track, making sure every activity happens when it's supposed to. You'll also be co-developing stakeholder maps and engagement plans, partnering closely with the Manager to create meaningful connections.
You'll help build and nurture long-term partnerships with government and civil society organisations — all with the goal of unlocking opportunities for young people. And because communication is key, you'll be keeping everyone in the loop on progress, making sure all project elements run smoothly and professionally.
On top of that, you'll support the rollout of key initiatives across the business that advance our systems change agenda and prepare monthly reports that capture real insights and impact.
What You'll Need
A Matric or Grade 12 certificate is required (a post-school qualification would be an advantage).
At least 2-3 years of proven experience working in events and activations, with a track record of bringing events to life.
This role requires extensive provincial travel therefore a valid driver’s license is a requirement and having your own vehicle would be an advantage.
