Summary
Supporting the implementation and delivery of a four-year cybersecurity capacity-building project, the coordinator works collaboratively with the Moodle Developer and external subject matter experts to support curriculum delivery, learner engagement, system integrity, and program reporting. The role contributes to measurable outcomes, national rollout activities, and secure program operations.
How You Will Make a Difference
Reporting to the Cyber Safety Manager, develops, updates, and delivers cybersecurity training modules, orientations, and webinars for pilot and national cohorts.
Supports curriculum refinement in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and the Cybersecurity Manager to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Assists in integrating digital literacy and cybersecurity best practices into training materials.
Coordinates pilot implementation activities, including learner onboarding and cohort communications.
Responds to learner inquiries and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborates with the Moodle Developer to ensure training content is functional, accessible, and aligned with LMS capabilities.
Monitors learner engagement, participation metrics, and completion rates and provides data to support reporting and evaluation activities.
Supports the development of resource materials, guides, and supplementary learning tools.
Assists with stakeholder communications and national rollout coordination as required.
Contributes to documentation, progress reporting, and compliance requirements under the CSCP funding agreement.
Supports program sustainability planning and final project wrap-up activities.
Performs other related duties as required.
What You Bring
Degree or diploma in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Adult Education, or a related field, plus a minimum of two (2) years’ recent related experience in cybersecurity training, digital education, or program coordination; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of foundational cybersecurity principles, digital safety practices, and risk awareness.
Experience supporting online or blended learning environments; familiarity with Moodle or similar LMS platforms is an asset.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly in both written and oral English.
Demonstrated cultural competency and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated proficiency with current digital tools, virtual platforms, and cybersecurity awareness resources.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
Possession of and ability to maintain a clear provincial Criminal Record Check.

ISSofBC Value Proposition
Expected Hiring Salary: $29.12 - $33.01 per hour.
Dependent on education, training, experience, and internal equity. Wage grids are reviewed annually. We are a proud and certified Living Wage BC Employer. Our current total compensation package continues to meet the requirements of living wages in BC to support our employees.
