The Opportunity:

Our Infrastructure Platform Development team in Bangkok is seeking a Software Development Intern to help us design, build, and scale Agoda's internal infrastructure platforms. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing and enhancing our self-built infrastructure management system, as well as creating tools and scripts to interact with core components like OpenStack, Ceph and Kubernetes.

The internship period is from January - May 2026 OR August - December 2026

In this Role, You'll Get To:

• Design, develop, and implement your own ideas to contribute to Agoda’s infrastructure platform, including enhancing our self-built infrastructure management system

• Work on interesting challenges unique to the modern platform infrastructure we maintain, including scaling, reliability and automation

• Interact with technologies such as OpenStack, Ceph, Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, and other industry-leading tools to build and optimize our infrastructure

• Investigate and troubleshoot performance issues across core infrastructure components while driving performance tuning and optimization

What you’ll Need to Succeed:

• Currently studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills (working language is English)

• Some years of programming experience at university level in a modern programming language (preferably Python or GO)

• Basic knowledge of Development ecosystems like Git and Docker

• High sense of ownership, self-driven mindset and willingness to learn

• Comfortable working in the Linux command line environment including Bash scripting

It'd be great if you had:

• Experience in using modern CI/CD systems (GitLab or GitHub Actions) and creating CI/CD pipelines with configuration as code (e.g., YAML, Bash)

• Expertise in managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters OpenStack environments or operating Ceph storage systems

• Advanced Docker knowledge, including creating Dockerfiles, building multi-stage builds and troubleshooting complex container-related issues

• Experience with hardware management APIs such as Redfish, ILO, DRAC, or similar

• Knowledge of physical architecture at scale, including building resilient, highly available and fault-tolerant systems.
