How your day-to-day in this role will look: Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will ensure the highest culinary standards by:

• Overseeing an assigned kitchen section to ensure efficient workflow and maximum productivity
• Preparing all menu items consistently according to standard product specifications
• Assisting the Chef de Cuisine in maintaining Ella Resort’s premium policies and procedures
• Monitoring and controlling operating costs by actively reducing food waste
• Maintaining flexibility to support various kitchen sections as required by the Executive Chef
• Fostering a positive environment to maximize team morale and performance

Requirements:
What do you need to be successful at this job?

• Experience: 3 or more years of professional experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel
• Education: Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts
• Language Maestro: Good knowledge of English. A second language (French, German, Russian, or Italian) is a plus
• Technical Precision: Deep understanding of kitchen operations and standard specifications
• Flexibility Expert: Ability to respond effectively to a range of different work situations
• Communication Virtuoso: Excellent communication skills and a pleasant, client-oriented personality
