Position: Conveyancing Paralegal
Work Schedule: 8:00AM-5:00PM AEST
Salary: AU$1,400-AU$2,100/month
OVERVIEW:
The client is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who can confidently manage files from start to finish, with support and oversight where required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managing residential conveyancing files from instruction through to settlement
• Preparing and reviewing Contracts of Sale and Vendor Statements (Section 32)
(A Contract Review will be required as part of the interview process)
• Conducting title and due diligence searches (planning, zoning, certificates, etc.)
• Liaising with clients, agents, banks and other solicitors/conveyancers
• Preparing PEXA workspaces and coordinating electronic settlements
• Preparing statement of adjustments (rates, water, land tax, etc.)
• Preparing Duties Online forms and managing SRO requirements
• Assisting with subdivisions, transfers and off-the-plan matters where required
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 3 years conveyancing experience
• Strong knowledge of Victorian conveyancing processes
• Experience using PEXA, Duties Online, Tri Conveyancing and industry software.
• Excellent communication and file management skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
