Job Summary
The Conveyancing Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the conveyancing team to ensure property transactions are handled efficiently and in compliance with legal requirements. The role involves assisting with documentation, liaising with clients and third parties, and maintaining accurate records throughout the conveyancing process.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist conveyancers with the preparation and management of legal documents related to property transactions.
• Open and maintain client files and ensure all documentation is properly recorded and stored.
• Conduct basic property searches and gather relevant information required for transactions.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties to obtain required documents and updates.
• Schedule appointments, meetings, and follow up on outstanding matters.
• Prepare draft correspondence, contracts, and other conveyancing documents.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the conveyancing process.
• Maintain accurate records and update case management systems regularly.
• Provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team.
