💼 A foodora, one of the most dominant players in Hungary's online quick-commerce sector, is looking for a new team member for a Finance Controller position!

As a Finance Controller, you won't just be responsible for daily reports and analyses; you will actively participate in preparing management decisions, cost planning, and developing financial models. We are looking for a colleague who moves confidently in complex financial environments, enjoys seeing the "big picture," and is capable of building a bridge between the numbers and the management team.

 

🎯 What is the role about?

• Focus: In your daily work, you will primarily support the company’s platform business (restaurants & other key partners) from a financial controlling perspective.

• Modeling & Analysis: You will understand and oversee business operations, dive deep into data to reveal key performance drivers.

• Decision Support: You will support decision-makers with comprehensive financial and business reports and analyses.

• Closing & Audit: You will take an active role in the company’s monthly financial closings and the annual audit process.

• Mindset: You aren't intimidated by the daily challenges of a dynamically evolving industry; you are capable of holistic thinking but can also dive deep into the root of problems.

• Bridge-building: You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to act as a bridge between business operations and finance.

• Technical Skills: You are proficient in Excel, work confidently and independently, and understand the interdependencies between different systems.

• Language & Environment: You enjoy working in an international environment and are comfortable performing the majority of your work in English (both verbal and written).

✅ It’s an advantage if...

• Technical Background: You have accounting experience and have previously worked with SAP.

• Accounting Standards: You are familiar with the main principles of IFRS.
