🎯 About the Role

As our Head Accountant (Maternity Backfill), you’ll be the technical anchor of the team, ensuring accurate, compliant, and audit-ready accounting for both US and Canadian entities. You’ll have autonomy, ownership, and impact — perfect for someone who thrives on precision and efficiency.

What You’ll Do:
• Manage full-cycle accounting: journal entries, month-end close, financial statements, budgets, analysis
• Oversee daily operations: AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations
• Support financial reporting & budgeting for business decisions
• Coordinate year-end audits and tax filings (US & Canada)
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and best practices

What We’re Looking For:
• CPA (or CA, CMA, CGA) with 10+ years’ experience in digital or high-growth companies
• Strong NetSuite & Excel skills
• Detail-oriented, autonomous, and proactive
• Bilingual French/English OR English-only (strong asset for bilingual)
• Passion for precision, compliance, and high-quality reporting
