Your Impact

Pearce is seeking Experienced Controlled Environment Vault (CEV) HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. Core Responsibilities

• Perform work on underground Controlled Environment Vaults (CEVs).

• Service forced-air heating systems, air conditioning units, hydronic heating systems, refrigeration equipment, and complete HVAC systems.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment and all related mechanical and electrical components.

• Perform preventative maintenance and operational testing on HVAC and electrical systems.

• Test electrical circuits and components for continuity using appropriate electrical test equipment.

• Layout, connect, and verify electrical wiring between controls and equipment in accordance with wiring diagrams.

• Troubleshoot low-voltage control systems and read/interpret electrical ladder schematics.

• Demonstrate working knowledge of underground gas monitoring systems (including Sierra 2400, Sierra 2450, and Quest control systems).

• Maintain basic plumbing systems, including sump pumps.

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience

• Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).

• 2+ years of experience of demonstrated competency of HVAC comfort systems, including professional-level diagnostics and service.

• Possess strong working knowledge of pumps, dry coolers, and cooling towers.

• Complete all required safety and technical training.

• Follow all safety practices and quality standards as outlined in company safety manuals and project documentation

• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

Physical/Work Environment

At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards.

• Candidates should reside in the Daytona Beach, Florida area.

• Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.

• Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.

• Occasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.

• Driving to remote work sites as needed.

• Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.

• Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).

• Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.

Compensation: $30.00-$38.00 hourly/DOE

$30—$38 USD
