Fireline Sprinkler LLC is a full-service fire protection contractor specializing in the design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of commercial fire sprinkler systems. Our mission statement reflects our purpose: "Your Life Safety is Our Life's Work."
We are looking for a Contract Superintendent to join our team. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the fire sprinkler installation on construction sites. The Contract Superintendent is responsible for maintaining the highest level of the organization's safety and quality standards while delivering projects on time and within the allotted budget.
What you will do:
Lead and manage fire sprinkler installation crews on multiple job sites.
Daily/weekly/monthly scheduling of personnel for construction projects.
Work closely with designers, project managers, foremen, and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects within budget.
Track and manage job budgets including field labor, lift and equipment rental costs, and materials.
Work and coordinate with multiple union business agents.
Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to plan and schedule work.
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
Troubleshoot issues to ensure that project deadlines are met without losing quality standards.
Prepare and submit project reports, including job progress and material usage.
Maintain strong communication with general contractors, owners, and internal stakeholders.
To be successful you will need:
Member in good standing with the Local 669 Union.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sprinkler fitter foreman's role preferred.
A strong commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites.
High School Diploma/GED.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
