CRG is currently seeking an experieced Contract Specialists to support our potential client within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)- Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ). This role is responsible for providing end-to-end contracting support and ensuring procurement actions comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and applicable agency policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple acquisition actions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide end=to-end contract support, including acquisition planning, solicitation, award, administration, and closeout
Prepare and process acquisition documentation such as acquisition plans, solicitations, awards, contract modifications, and justifications
Apply and interpret the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific procurement policies
Support contracting actions under FAR Parts 8, 12, 13, 15, and 16, including BPAs and IDIQ contracts
Assist with cost and price analysis and development of pre-negotiation objectives
Use government contract-writing and reporting systems such as PRISM, FPDS, and SAM.gov
Maintain complete and accurate contract files in accordance with federal requirements
Monitor contract performance, funding, and compliance throughout the contract lifecycle
Review spreadsheets and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness
Safeguard procurement-sensitive and other controlled information
Communicate acquisition status, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, additional years of directly related federal contracting experience may be considered.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a federal contracting or Contract Specialist role
Demonstrated experience providing cradle-to-grave contracting support
Strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Experience with federal acquisition systems such as PRISM, FPDS, and SAM.gov
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting DHS, ICE, or other law-enforcement or national security organizations
Experience with GSA Multiple Award Schedules, OASIS+, or other multi-agency contract vehicles
Experience supporting competitive source selections and cost analysis
Experience handling procurement-sensitive or law-enforcement-sensitive information
