Job Overview:
The Contract Networking Professional will function as an independent contractor identifying, developing, and introducing potential clients within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry to the Asymchem Clinical technical team to generate business for Regulatory and Clinical service offerings. This position is focused on relationship development and strategic introductions that result in qualified opportunities and awards for Asymchem Clinical. The ideal candidate brings an existing industry network and is motivated to continue expanding that network while generating new business opportunities.
This position offers flexibility, visibility within the life sciences industry, and compensation directly tied to successful business outcomes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Identifies, develops and maintains relationships with decision-makers in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.
Identifies and qualifies new business opportunities aligned with Asymchem Clinical’s service offerings.
Facilitates introductions between potential clients and Asymchem Clinical technical teams.
Maintains accurate records of contacts, activities, and outcomes in accordance with company expectations.
Represents Asymchem Clinical at relevant networking events and industry gatherings (virtual or in-person).
Collaborates closely with the business development leadership to ensure alignment with target market strategy. This includes quarterly training and progress reporting.
Function as an external ambassador for Asymchem, representing the company’s values and capabilities with professionalism.
Experience Requirements - Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs):
Minimum bachelor’s degree in life sciences, chemistry, business, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience and at least moderate understanding of clinical services offerings and the life cycle of a clinical trial.
Strong professional network within the pharma/biotech community.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with either a proven track record of generating leads or referrals or deep technical background and natural business development abilities.
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.
Professional presence and credibility in industry settings.
Persistent, resourceful, and able to manage multiple contacts simultaneously.
Ability to travel occasionally to client meetings, conferences, or networking events as needed.
Compensation:
This is a 100% commission-based independent contractor role.
Compensation is structured as a finder’s fee, calculated as a percentage of the project awarded value.
