About the team you are joining
The role of the Contract Manager IATA Consulting is to support the IATA Consulting team in the preparation, negotiation and approval of contracts.
What your day would be like
Draft revenue and procurement contracts in conjunction with the related Project Director and/or Manager
Upon request, provide guidance and support to the Poles for the preparation of proposals linked to RFPs
Analyze potential risks involved with RfP and contract terms by collaborating with subject matter experts from areas such as Corporate Compliance, Corporate Secretary, Finance, Insurance, Taxation, Treasury, and Legal Counsel
Prepare risk analysis in conjunction with the related Project Director and/or Manager
Collect the documentation required by Corporate Compliance to perform the Compliance review
Manage the set-up of bank guarantees, performance bonds or ad hoc insurances when required
Manage the processes for obtaining and /or assembling various documents to meet administrative requirements specified in RFPs and/or by Clients including Special PoAs, Copies of Statutes, Taxation Certificates, Audited Financial Statements, Certificates of Project Completion, Etc.
Communicate the contract terms and conditions and advise on their impact and potential risk to relevant internal stakeholders
Make recommendations and take actions under the direction of the the related Project Director and/or Manager based on the understanding and judgment of all factors involved
Ensure that contract documentation is obtained and executed in a timely and efficient manner, liaising closely with project managers and relevant stakeholders as appropriate, keeping them fully informed of progress
Ensure compliance of consulting’s contract management process with IATA’s FPM policy
Establish and maintain positive relationships internally and with clients and vendors by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters
Manage record keeping for all contract-related documentation
Provide advice, guidance and best practices on matters related to the contracting process and IATA’s internal policy
Create and maintain administrative work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
Ensure that the Business Development Report is updated regularly as to the status of Consulting EOIs, RfPs and proposals under consideration by existing or potential clients
Maintain and feed (through on-going recruitment) project and external consultant databases
Train, guide and supervise the consulting administrative support team
Supervise the department’s SAP activities
Monitor and anticipate the expiration of contracts and plan for their extension or renewal as required.

You possess a university bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
You have a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in contract management, supply chain, or procurement.
You have a proven expertise in SAP, with hands-on experience in managing administrative and contractual processes.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively across teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in a second language such as Spanish, Arabic, or Mandarin is considered an asset.
