Contract Management Team Lead Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Contract Management Team Lead to support the Engineering, Test & Technology (ET&T) organization in Hazelwood, MO . This position provides an exciting and challenging opportunity to lead a team of specialists supporting the central research and development organization of Boeing. The selected candidate will lead the entire contracting process, including proposal development, negotiation, contract award and execution activities, for a wide variety of customers and contract types. These unique contracting arrangements help ET&T provide innovative technologies that enable the development of future aerospace solutions. Position Responsibilities: Provide training, guidance, and workload management for a team of Contract Management Specialists Exercise appropriate signature authority in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies Present business solutions to preserve and expand the business Represent the company in external negotiations to a diverse set of customers Prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret and administer legally binding complex contractual agreements for The Boeing Company Coordinate and partner with other internal functional disciplines Summarize complex contractual issues, develop creative solutions and coordinate contractual risk mitigation Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s Degree or higher 5+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), and other government regulations Experience utilizing strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills Experience demonstrating presentation skills to senior managers and/or executives Experience as a highly motivated self-starter and self-directed learner with a creative mind, and high attention to detail Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
