Responsibilities / Tasks
In this role you will be the central point of expertise for all contract-related matters in Türkiye. You will ensure that contracts with customers, suppliers, and service partners are legally compliant, commercially sound, and aligned with GEA’s global standards.
You will collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and global colleagues to safeguard the company’s interests and elevate contract governance across the organization.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of legal, commercial, analytical, and cross-functional responsibilities.
What You Will Do
• Review, support, and, when necessary, negotiate customer contracts (sales, projects, service), ensuring that commercial, financial, and legal risks are properly identified and highlighted.
• Review, support, and, when required, negotiate supplier and subcontractor agreements, ensuring balanced terms and full compliance with procurement standards.
• Adapt and maintain contract templates in line with Turkish law and GEA global policies.
• Act as the main contact for contract-related matters between Türkiye, GEA HQ, Divisions, and external law firms.
• Ensure compliance and proper approvals for all non-standard or high-risk contract clauses.
• Support internal teams (Sales, Procurement, Finance, HR, Service) with contract drafting, NDAs, amendments, and dispute-related matters.
• Improve contract governance processes, documentation practices, and contract tracking systems.
• Promote contract and risk awareness across the organization through guidance and collaboration.
Your Profile / Qualifications
• Degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in contract management, legal, commercial, or procurement roles — preferably in a multinational environment
• Strong understanding of contract structures and commercial risk
• Knowledge of Turkish commercial and contract law
• Excellent Turkish & English communication skills (only CVs submitted in English will be considered).
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
• Able to work independently and advise senior management with confidence
