This is a remote Contract position based in the US. 
Contract will last ~ 12-14 weeks
Up to 30 hours/week

tonies® is seeking a meticulous and skilled professional with a passion for turning data into results. Join the tonies® Product Team as a Contract Conversion Rate Optimization Manager and take the lead in elevating our digital performance. In this role, you'll meticulously analyze website traffic and user behavior data to pinpoint areas for enhancement, implementing strategies that catapult conversion rates. Collaborate with our product, marketing, and web development teams to optimize website performance and enhance user experience, ultimately driving increased conversions and revenue growth. The ideal candidate brings a combination of analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of user psychology and behavior. Your tasks and responsibilities will include::
• Conduct in-depth analysis of website traffic and user behavior using tools such as A/B testing platforms, Google Analytics, and heatmaps.

• Identify areas for improvement in the conversion funnel and user journey, and develop strategies to optimize these areas.

• Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to develop and execute conversion optimization campaigns, including landing page optimization, content optimization, and user experience improvements.

• Conduct thorough research on customer behavior and preferences to inform conversion optimization strategies with both User Testing and on-site testing.

• Perform A/B and multivariate testing to assess the impact of different optimizations on conversion rates and user experience.

• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization efforts.

• Monitor website performance metrics, such as bounce rate, time on page, and conversion rates, and identify trends or issues that may impact conversion optimization efforts.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in conversion rate optimization and user experience design.

• Collaborate with the web development team to implement technical changes and improvements to the website that will enhance conversion rates.

• Provide regular reports and updates on conversion optimization efforts and results to stakeholders.


What we are looking for::
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.

• Proficiency in using web analytics tools such as Optimizely, Google Analytics, and Hotjar.

• Solid understanding of conversion rate optimization principles and best practices.

• Experience conducting A/B and multivariate tests.

• Knowledge of user psychology and behavior, and ability to apply these principles to optimize website performance.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to improve conversion rates.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Proficient in HTML and CSS.

• Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles.

• Familiarity with JavaScript.

• Bachelor's degree in UX, Marketing, Business, Psychology, or a related field.

• Proven experience in conversion rate optimization or a similar role.

• Experience with web analytics tools and A/B testing platforms.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating successful conversion optimization campaigns and results.

• Knowledge of SEO best practices and their impact on conversion rates.

• Familiarity with web development and design principles.

• Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and conversion tracking tools.
