Continuous Improvement Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Process/continual improvement support of supervisors to include: Blue Belt/Lean activities, update manufacturing work instructions resulting from CI projects, in-process verification/testing, One Point Lessons & other activities to support our C.I. & corrective action culture.

 ·         Internal ISO Auditing activity, including audit team membership and support of external ISO audits & regulatory audits that may include: UL, FM, ICCES, etc.

·         Facilitate Lean & problem-solving activities & projects to help supervisors ensure on-time completion, sustainability, and proper reporting of results. 

·         Implement communication tools to foster the Lean environment and improve a Lean culture

·         Drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale on every Kaizen event.

·         Be a strong team player and be dedicated to the success of the entire organization.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of 2 yrs. of manufacturing experience, preferably in a leadership capacity

Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office programs.

Experience with QA software

Proven ability to speak in front of groups

Experience in calibration and using measuring equipment

Ability to spend time on the shop floor for communications and for studies
