ABOUT THE ROLE

LayerZero builds infrastructure so any asset, application, or company can use crypto rails at internet scale. We’re reinventing how value moves online by solving for interoperability amongst blockchains – a problem we believe the world will value in trillions.

LayerZero is looking for a Content Strategy Lead to architect and operate our editorial engine.

This role sits on the Brand Marketing team and is responsible for translating product, partnership, and ecosystem momentum into structured, high-leverage content across all of our brand-owned channels.

You will own the content calendar, write a majority of our editorial output, and ensure narrative consistency across brand, founders, and ecosystem voices.

This is not a social media manager role. This is a narrative operator role.

You’ll work closely with:

• The Narrative Lead to maintain positioning clarity and voice

• The Head of Partner Marketing to amplify ecosystem announcements

• Product Marketing to translate launches into structured editorial

• Marketing Ops to align content with GEO/LLM surface strategy

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Own the Editorial Engine

• Build and manage the global content calendar (APAC, ecosystem, launches, events, thought leadership), ensuring coordination across all channels

• Create structured workflows for launches, partner moments, and reactive narratives

• Design content for amplification across ecosystem networks, partners, and community channels

• Ensure consistent positioning and storytelling across all channels

• Maintain editorial standards and quality control

Write High-Impact Content

• Draft announcement threads, launch posts, blog articles, explainers, and ecosystem spotlights

• Develop long-form, technically credible content to support GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)

• Produce durable educational content designed to surface across LLMs and search environments

Measure & Refine

• Monitor engagement, adoption signals, and content performance

• Refine editorial strategy based on what resonates with developers, institutions, and ecosystem partners

• Continuously improve content systems and workflows

ABOUT YOU

• 5–8+ years in content strategy, editorial, or narrative roles within crypto, fintech, infrastructure, or technical SaaS

• Exceptional writing ability — clear, structured, technically credible

• Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, high-visibility environments where clarity and speed both matter

• Deep understanding of crypto-native audiences and institutional audiences

• Strong editorial judgment and ability to manage high-stakes announcements

• Systems thinker who can build repeatable workflows, not just create posts

• Familiarity with GEO/LLM content strategy and durable content design

• High agency, high ownership, low ego
