Job Description

We’re looking for a Content Specialist focused on Email Marketing & Lead Magnets to help us transform our newsletter, email campaigns, bundles, and studies into high-value resources that attract, nurture, and convert social media professionals around the world.

You can work 100% remotely in an international, fast-growing company where all team members love to create, collaborate, analyze, and help social media managers make their work easier.

This role sits at the core of Metricool’s content ecosystem and directly contributes to one of our biggest goals: turning subscribers into active Metricool users through valuable, human-centered content.

What You’ll Do

Create periodic email campaigns and automated email sequences addressing different stages of the customer journey, from awareness to activation.

Maintain a consistent B2H tone aligned with Metricool’s brand archetype.

Segment and personalize content for different personas (aspiring SMMs, freelancers, agencies, brand managers, entrepreneurs).

Monitor email performance (open rate, CTR, conversions) and apply data-driven improvements.

Conceptualize, research, and produce high-value bundles, guides, templates, and industry studies that serve as powerful acquisition tools.

Ensure all resources have practical, actionable value for our audience.

Align with SEO to ensure all resources and emails are optimized for global and local search opportunities.

Propose new content opportunities, lead magnets, or newsletter formats based on industry trends and user behavior.

As a Team Member,

Coordinate with the Design team to produce visually engaging, on-brand assets for newsletters, templates, studies, and bundles.

Participate in weekly syncs, brainstorms, and planning sessions with the Lead Magnets & Emails Team and the Marketing Team.

Share insights from email performance and lead magnet results to improve team-wide strategy.

Help establish best practices for email creation, lead magnet development, and content repurposing across channels.

Ensure every piece of content aligns with Metricool’s brand voice, tone, and Mentor archetype.

Support the refinement of internal workflows to improve efficiency and consistency across markets.

Contribute to a collaborative environment based on transparency, feedback, and continuous improvement.

Share learnings, new tools, and innovative content ideas with teammates.

Participate in content reviews and offer constructive feedback to elevate team quality.

Represent the Content Team mindset of “high-value content, human-first communication, and continuous experimentation.”

Adapt content to multiple markets collaborating with translators when needed.

Communicate proactively with teammates about project timelines, needs, and progress.

Maintain high autonomy while knowing when to ask for help, feedback, or alignment.


Long story, short: How will your first days in Metricool look like?

First month:

Full understanding of Metricool’s brand voice, email structure, content ecosystem, and user personas.

IInitial support on newsletters and simple email workflows.

First Quarter:

Full ownership of major email campaigns.

Delivery of at least 1–2 high-value lead magnets (bundle or study).

Clear contribution to user acquisition through email and lead magnets

To the moon:

Establishment of a consistent pipeline of lead magnets that generate high-quality signups.

Measurable impact on registrations sourced from email and resources.

Seamless team integration and cross-department collaboration.

Recognition as a key strategic contributor within the Content Team.

Job requirements. You’ll be successful on your mission if you meet the following:

Based in Spain

2–4 years of experience in content creation, email marketing, or digital marketing roles.

Proven experience writing newsletters, guides, or lead magnets with measurable results.

Experience producing educational or long-form content in English.

Nice to Have

Experience with any ESP (Email Service Provider).

Experience in SaaS or B2B content.

Experience creating data-based or research-driven content.

Additional languages (French, German, Italian, Portuguese).

A personal brand or project you have grown successfully (newsletter, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram account, blog, etc.).

Hard skills:

Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.

Ability to analyze metrics and optimize content using a data-driven mindset.

Understanding of the social media and digital marketing ecosystem.

Familiarity with audience segmentation and funnel strategy.

Soft skills:

Creative and strategic mindset.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

High level of autonomy and ownership. You’re able to go from idea to shipping with minimum hand-holding.
