Role Overview:
We are looking for a Content Social Media Specialist focused on content creation and copywriting for our social media platforms. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional writing skills and a deep understanding of social media trends, capable of producing content that engages, informs, and grows our audience. Additionally, this role requires a foundational understanding of SEO principles to ensure that social media content contributes to organic visibility and aligns with broader digital strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and develop content strategies for social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) aligned with campaigns and brand goals.
Write engaging copy for posts, stories, scripts, and other social media formats.
Apply SEO best practices in copywriting (keywords, metadata, hashtags, descriptions) to maximize content discoverability.
Collaborate with the Design team to ensure content is visually supported and aligned with brand guidelines.
Monitor content performance using social media metrics and suggest improvements based on insights.
Stay up-to-date with social media trends and audience preferences to inform content strategy.
Maintain consistency in brand voice and messaging across all platforms.
Requirements:
Proven experience in social media content creation and copywriting.
Strong portfolio or examples of social media campaigns and content.
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills in English (Spanish a plus).
Solid understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience engagement strategies.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple content projects under tight deadlines.
Analytical mindset to interpret performance data and optimize content.
Basic knowledge of SEO principles and how they apply to social media and content distribution.
Preferred:
Experience in content strategy or editorial planning.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools.
Knowledge of branding and marketing principles.
