About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of localised software documentation across a range of products. You will carry out detailed manual localisation testing, identifying and reporting issues using internal tools while providing clear insights and suggested improvements. Working closely with international QA teams, Documentation Engineers, Translators, and Project Managers, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, user-focused documentation to global markets. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to support the successful delivery of world-class documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual localisation testing for a wide variety of software products documentation within a dynamic environment.

• Reporting issues found by using internal tools, providing pertinent information and suggestions and following the solution process to its completion.

• Interfacing with international QA centres, documentation engineering teams, translators and project managers to ensure that Apple delivers world-class products documentation to our international markets.

• Any other duties as required.

Depending on experience and skills, duties might also include:

• Managing manual international testing on documentation, print & hardware items as a member of a project test team.

• Planning and following up on test schedules in cooperation with the project management teams.

• Identifying areas of improvement in existing tools and processes, and addressing issues with innovative solutions.

• Reporting work progress and current status of tasks.

• Ensuring that the documentation is always in sync with the software linguistic style and terminology.

Required skills:

• Native speaker of the language required and fluency in English.

• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to details.

• Excellent team player.

• Self driven, flexibility to work on multiple projects and with various types of deadlines.

• Ability to thrive under pressure and function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
