Content Producer

We're looking for a Content Producer to create tutorials, landing pages, and case studies that turn complex technical concepts into content people actually want to read.

What you'll be working on:

• You'll be part of the Content team, reporting directly to the Senior Content Manager, and working closely with SEO, Product Marketing, and other cross-functional members of the Marketing team.

• Create long-form content across the Apify blog: tutorials, guides, listicles, and articles that help developers and technical users understand web scraping, automation, and AI agents.

• Write and revise landing pages that communicate product value clearly and drive signups.

• Develop case studies and customer stories that show how Apify solves real problems.

• Support other teams with copy reviews and editing.

Who we're looking for:

• You have 3+ years of experience writing conversion-focused content, preferably in SaaS, developer tools, or technical products. You have a portfolio that shows clear thinking and clean prose. Be ready to talk us through your work.

• You're comfortable writing about technical topics. You don't need to be a developer, but you should be able to learn how tools work and explain them clearly.

• Fluent English (C2 level) that translates into clear, concise writing with no typos, no jargon, and no clunky phrasing.

• You're flexible on format. You're as happy writing a landing page as you are writing a tutorial.

• You self-edit before you submit. You catch your own mistakes and don't rely on reviewers to fix what you should have caught yourself.

• We use AI extensively at Apify, and we expect you to as well. You use AI to work faster, not to avoid thinking, shaping its outputs to serve your vision rather than accepting defaults.

• Attention to detail. In your cover letter, tell us your favorite book. If you don't, we'll know you haven't read this far.

What we expect from you in the first six months:

Your first priority is to learn our content standards, understand our audience, and build relationships with the team. You'll start with guided work and gradually take on more ownership.

By the end of the first month, we expect you to:

• You'll get oriented on Apify culture, values, and how the various teams work together.

• Get familiar with Apify tools, processes, and workflows. We use Notion, Slack, Trello, Ghost, and a range of other tools. Experience with these will help you fit in quickly.

• Complete a technical onboarding demo to become familiar with the Apify platform and Apify Actors.

• Learn and apply the Apify style guide to all content you produce.

• Take on small, guided tasks to learn our style, tone, and audience.

By the end of the first 3 months, we expect you to:

• Start owning small projects with support: revising existing content, drafting new articles, and contributing to landing pages.

• Become familiar with our writing guidelines and templates. Apply them independently.

• Collaborate with the team on sprint planning and content briefs.

• Build relationships with Product Marketing and other cross-functional partners.

From month 4 onwards, we expect you to:

• Take full ownership of assigned projects across the blog, landing pages, and case studies.

• Work independently within the sprint structure, with review from the Senior Content Manager.

• Contribute to improving team workflows and documentation.

By following this timeline, you'll establish yourself as a key contributor to the content team and be ready to take on more responsibility by the end of your first year.
