As our Content Marketing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our brand shows up in the world. Working closely with the Supervisor, Brand, you’ll develop, implement, and manage content across all of Sandbox’s digital platforms. From storytelling to strategy, your work will engage our audiences, strengthen our brand voice, and drive meaningful results.

DIVE IN AND MAKE A SPLASH EVERY DAY BY:
Planning and developing high-quality content including videos, ads, blog posts, and social media
Conducting market research and identifying content opportunities, trends, and insights
Repurposing and optimizing content across multiple platforms to maximize reach and impact
Collaborating with Marketing Coordinators to ensure content is informed by SEO best practices
Monitoring and analyzing content performance using analytics tools and adjusting strategies accordingly
Ensuring all content aligns with Sandbox’s brand voice, messaging, and business objectives
Supporting digital tools such as the website, customer portal, email campaigns, and social platforms
Assisting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns
Staying current with trends in content marketing, SEO, and digital strategy
Supporting other departments and taking on additional responsibilities as needed
WHAT YOU BRING TO SANDBOX:
Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Experience: 3–5 years in a content, digital, or marketing-focused role
Content Expertise: Proven experience creating and managing content across blogs, social media, websites, and digital ads
Creative Skills: Experience capturing and editing photo/video content
Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital, social, email, and traditional marketing channels
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
SEO & Analytics: Experience with SEO and analyzing performance metrics to inform strategy
Communication: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data and make informed, strategic decisions
Independence: Self-starter who can manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships
