Job Description
We're looking for a Content Manager to lead and evolve our content function on a fixed-term maternity cover basis. This role is responsible for overseeing content strategy, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring high-quality, high-performing output across all channels.
You will act as the central point of accountability for content, working closely with marketing, product, and commercial teams to deliver impactful messaging aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Strategy
Act as the central point of accountability for all content output and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with wider business goals
Set priorities, allocate workload, and support development of the team
Foster a high-performing, proactive team environment
Content Operations & Planning
Oversee all incoming content requests and make sure that they are prioritized effectively
Ensure efficient resource allocation on ongoing projects
Ensure deadlines are consistently met through proactive planning
Content Creation & Delivery
Write and oversee high-quality content across multiple channels
Adapt messaging for different audiences and objectives
Support cross-functional initiatives, including product and other communications
Maintain & evolve brand voice
Update guidelines as the brand evolves
Ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy across all channels
Review, edit, and approve content produced by the team
Process Improvement & Innovation
Identify inefficiencies and continuously improve workflows
Introduce and optimize tools, including AI solutions
Standardize processes and documentation
Social Media Oversight
Improve planning and publishing workflows
Review and approve content ideas
Ensure consistency and alignment with brand strategy
What We’re Looking For
Native level fluency in Dutch is essential
Fluency in English
Proven work experience in either Content Marketing and/or social media
Excellent copy writing skills and eye for detail
A pro-active attitude and organisation skills
Basic knowledge of SEO is a plus
A degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, or related field is a plus
