About the Role
JHub’s Content Manager will be responsible for managing JHub’s content strategy while supporting each of the 25 programs within the portfolio. The role provides a unique opportunity to take ownership of the brand voice through compelling copy that you will develop across digital and print channels including: landing page copy, newsletters, promotional materials, social media copy and paid ad copy. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and an integral contributor to JHub’s marketing efforts, the content manager will work closely with our marketing and program teams to drive awareness and participation in JHub’s programs.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Director of Marketing to develop a content strategy to support the 25 Jewish & Israel experiences offered by JHub
Develop compelling copy for diverse formats based on audience segmentation
Edit and proofread copy including web copy, newsletter content, event promotional materials, ad campaigns, social media copy to ensure it’s accurate, engaging and adheres to the brand style guide.
Test and analyze performance by collaborating with digital marketing to review click through and conversion rates to improve results.
Maintain a high standard of quality, consistency, and accessibility across all outputs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in marketing, journalism, or a related field
3-5 years of experience writing in a professional capacity
Strong writing and marketing skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
Passionate advocate and visible champion of JHub’s North Star, inspiring others through action and unwavering commitment to advancing our shared purpose.
Familiarity with the Toronto Jewish community and/or experience in Jewish Communal Service considered an asset
* This is a full-time 12 month contract position. Salary Range: $65,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience. At JHub we support a flexible work schedule and all of our employees engage in hybrid work. In addition to a rich time off policy, JHub’s offices are closed on all Jewish holy days (yom tov) and we support early office closures to observe the Jewish Sabbath (Shabbat).
