Do you have economic analysis experience or a finance background? Are you commercially minded and have interest on strategic planning? ISI, the leading emerging markets information provider, is seeking a Content Licensing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for licensing business intelligence information in the form of macroeconomic and financial datasets from a variety of major global sources.
The Content Licensing Manager is responsible for identifying and satisfying customers’ information needs across ISI product offerings. This is achieved by maintaining and developing solid professional relationships with the existing network of data providers, researching potential content opportunities, and approaching and building relationships with new partners.
Key responsibilities:
Develop a content acquisition strategy and roadmap that is consistent with company goals and meets defined revenue targets, considering clients’ needs and requests, content gaps and competition trends
Proactively identify new data from new and existing suppliers
Work with Product Managers, Database, Helpdesk and Sales teams across the globe to ensure the collection, documentation and analysis of customer and prospect feedback
Manage relationships with global content partners, including renewal processes, new negotiations, and partnership terminations
Manage global content offering and financial datasets, identifying duplications and gaps, and align offering with local strategies
Manage approved budgets for content acquisition, assessing profitability of licensed content and ensuring this meets defined ROI
To be considered for this role you must:
Be educated to degree level – preferably in Economics, Business or Finance-related subjects
Have 2-3 years of experience working as an economic analyst, researcher, or similar roles
Have a good understanding of financial markets and economic data
Possess excellent negotiation, organisational and analytical skills
Good interpersonal communication skills
Be independent, able to work with autonomy under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Have interest or experience related to emerging markets
Experience working in an online content environment or in B2B would be an advantage
Fluent in English
