About the role

We're looking for a Content Lead to shape the voice and editorial standard of Peec AI across everything we publish. You'll set the direction, write the signature pieces, and edit every word we put out, from blog and newsletter to long-form essays, academy content, and video. You'll build and lead the team that makes it happen, and partner closely with our GEO, Growth, and Product teams so every piece lands with the audiences that matter. This is a role for a writer and editor with sharp taste, strong opinions, and a real point of view on where search and AI are going, who wants to help define a new category from the inside.

What you'll do

• Own the editorial voice of Peec AI across every written channel, from the blog and newsletter to long-form essays, landing pages, campaigns, and academy content

• Write the signature pieces yourself: long-form essays, category-defining POV writing, and the flagship content that shapes how the market thinks about AI search and brand visibility

• Edit every piece we publish and hold the bar on quality, voice, and accuracy so each one is worth seeking out on its own merits

• Build and lead the content team, brief freelancers and contributors, and develop AI-augmented production workflows that let us ship at pace without losing craft

• Shape the editorial direction of original research, turning Peec AI's unique view of AI search into category-defining publications in partnership with Product, GEO, Data, and Design

• Direct the editorial voice of video and podcast content so the Peec point of view carries across every format

• Partner closely with Growth, Product, and Design to align content with launches and campaigns, and turn every piece into compounding distribution across channels

• Collaborate with our GEO & SEO team on strategy for content, including keyword direction, topical architecture & internal linking.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in editorial, content, or SEO roles, ideally leading content at a B2B tech company, high-growth startup, or respected publication

• An exceptional writer with a strong, distinctive voice, and a body of published work that readers seek out on their own

• A track record of shipping signature content that builds audience, drives awareness, and earns external pickup, not content calendars for their own sake

• A real point of view on AI, search, or the shifting media landscape, and the ability to turn that POV into a narrative others adopt and reference

• Fluency across formats: long-form editorial, newsletter, SEO content, original research, and close collaboration on video and podcast

• Strong opinions on AI-native production tooling and a clear philosophy for where it elevates craft and where it undermines it

• Sharp editorial judgment, obsession with craft and detail, and the ability to hold a high bar while shipping at pace

• A portfolio of published work (long-form, newsletter, essays, original research, or similar) that demonstrates range, voice, and a distinctive perspective

Bonus Points

• Deep SEO knowledge, both technical and content-side, and a clear point of view on how AI search, GEO, and AEO are reshaping discovery

• Experience building or contributing to an owned audience: a newsletter, publication, podcast, or personal brand

• Background in journalism, publishing, or category-defining content environments (First Round Review, Stripe Press, Not Boring, Lenny's Newsletter, Animalz, or similar)

• Experience shipping content inside a venture-backed startup at Series A or B

• Keen interest in AI and emerging technologies
