Content Executive (Coral Racing Club)

The Coral Racing Club is a free-to-join racehorse ownership club which launched in November 2022. Since its inception, thousands of members have joined and experienced the thrill of racehorse ownership and been able to enjoy unforgettable racedays, bringing them closer to the sport they love.

Today the Club not only stands out as one of the most influential mechanics for attracting and retaining Coral customers, but it also plays a key role in the brands commitment to ‘Defend Racing’ and remain one of the most recognisable names in the industry.

With its own dedicated website, high quality content sits at the heart of this programme. Each week it delivers a variety of content and engagement experiences, including trainer updates on each of our racehorses, exclusive videos and blogs with our Coral Racing Ambassadors, competitions for the chance to win tickets and hospitality prize packages to some of the biggest racedays of the year, plus much more.

We’re on the lookout for a Content Executive to join our Coral Racing Club content team. The role would be ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, can collaborate effectively with departments to help deliver engaging content and experiences across all our platforms and channels, plus has the appetite to support the wider Sponsorship team when required.

This is a hands-on role, delivering the editorial and content schedule for the year and creating daily engagement opportunities such as news stories, competitions, polls, and exclusive events for our growing membership base.

Horse racing knowledge and interest is a must, as you’ll be ideating, coordinating and publishing exciting, well-informed content to thousands of sports fans on a regular basis.

We produce daily content and have events which will run on weekends, so we need someone who can be flexible and comfortable with the possibility of occasionally covering outside of the Monday to Friday schedule.

Key responsibilities

As the Content Executive you will be responsible for:

• Creating and publishing daily content on to the Coral Racing Club website via a content management system (Sitecore)
• Launching competitions and overseeing full competition flow through to prize redemption
• Working closely with our internal CRM, PR, Social and Performance Marketing teams to drive engagement with our content
• Working with our internal creative agency for promotional and marketing assets
• Supporting with regular KPI analysis and reporting
