Job Description
Content Creator / Social Media Manager (LinkedIn-Focused)
Part-time or Full-time | Remote (South Africa)
VirtuHire is a South African talent partner working with international businesses across the UK, US, Europe, and Australia. We help companies build high-performance remote teams, and our brand presence on LinkedIn is a key driver of trust, inbound leads, and authority.
We are looking for a Content Creator / Social Media Manager to own and execute our LinkedIn and social content strategy across:
• Directors’ personal LinkedIn profiles
• VirtuHire’s company page
• Supporting company social media channels
This role is ideal for someone who understands B2B positioning, personal brand building, and professional LinkedIn content — not consumer-style posting.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Planning, creating, and posting consistent LinkedIn content for:
• VirtuHire company page
• Directors’ personal profiles (thought leadership, insights, commentary)
• Creating visually strong, on-brand content using Canva (posts, carousels, banners, announcements)
• Repurposing long-form ideas into short, high-engagement LinkedIn content
• Coordinating posting schedules and maintaining a structured content calendar
• Writing clear, professional copy aligned to VirtuHire’s tone and positioning
• Monitoring basic engagement metrics and iterating based on what performs
• Supporting occasional content for other company social platforms as needed
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience creating LinkedIn content for B2B brands or founders
• Strong Canva skills (non-negotiable)
• Excellent written English with a professional, business-appropriate tone
• Strong understanding of how LinkedIn content performs (hooks, structure, timing)
• Highly organised and reliable — able to work to a content calendar
• Able to take direction, but also contribute ideas proactively
• Comfortable working with senior leadership and adapting content to their voice
Nice to Have (Not Essential)
• Experience building personal brands for founders or executives
• Familiarity with recruitment, HR, tech, or professional services content
• Basic analytics or content performance tracking experience
• Experience repurposing content into multiple formats
Role Structure
• Part-time or Full-time (open to discussion)
• Remote (South Africa-based)
• Long-term opportunity for the right person
How to Apply
Apply via LinkedIn with:
• A short note on your content experience
• Examples of LinkedIn posts, carousels, or brand pages you’ve worked on
• Confirmation of Canva proficiency
This role suits someone who wants to build a serious B2B brand presence, not just post content
