What This Role Involves:

The Content Creation Specialist is the ‘face’ of CCS, creating and appearing in videos and social media content that represents the meaningful work our organization does in a way that resonates with Canadians.  Your role will be to use your graphic design, video editing, and content creation skills to create engaging content that draws consumer attention and supports awareness of the organization and its impact.  Your role is a key component of our overall marketing and awareness strategy, working collaboratively with other members of the Marketing & Community Engagement team. 

What We Have To Offer:

The starting salary range for this role is $60,840 - $68,848, subject to change based on previous education, experience, and market location.

In addition, we offer an annual salary review process each January, so the successful candidate can expect to receive regular increases to their salary, subject to meeting established performance objectives.

In addition to a great workplace culture, our employee experience and compensation package includes: 

Three weeks vacation to start, plus 3 CCS days to use at your discretion and 6 Sick/Personal Days each year. These benefits will be prorated for your first year of employment.

A comprehensive health and wellness benefits package, including Prescription Coverage, Extended Health and Dental Coverage, a Health Spending Account, and a Wellness Spending Account. These benefits will be prorated in your first year of employment.

A long-term savings program with employer matching (up to 5% in the first 5 years of employment, with increases at 5th and 10th anniversaries).

Educational reimbursements (up to $2,500/year).

Fluency in French is an asset. Candidates who can work with both French and English will qualify for a Bilingual Credit, valued at $800 annually and paid on a prorated bi-weekly basis.

What We Are Looking For:

The successful applicant for this position will bring the following qualifications:

Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field is required, ideally in a related field such as business or communications.

Two to three years of experience in marketing, social media content creation, video production, and/or graphic design is a requirement for this role.

Experience in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite [Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Indesign]) is an asset.

Strong understanding of and interest in multiple social media platforms (e.g., X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).

Excellent oral and exceptional written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Well-organized and self-motivated.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

High proficiency in computer office applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Products like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position that requires you to have the ability to work on a hybrid basis, with potential for remote work from your primary residence. From time to time and with advance notice, this position may be required to work from a CCS office location and/or to attend meetings in office.
