Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Commodities Content Analyst is maintaining of database, data sourcing and monitoring for Commodities datasets available in desktop and feed products. Analyst is ensuring that relevant data is maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner. Moreover Analyst is supporting customers and resolving customer queries (content integrity, explanation).
The team is passionate about ensuring that LSEG delivers a best-in-class content for specific commodities market segments (agriculture, metals, crude/refined products/freight, power/gas/coal/emissions).
Also, the team works closely with the commodities market analysts, to produce analytics that differentiates LSEG commodities products from other available propositions.
We are looking for people who can work in a team but at the same time be able to take responsibility for what they deliver. We encourage innovative ways to work with the data.
Required Skills:
- Beginner level in understanding how the commodities markets operate worldwide,
- Experience in working with clients,
- Analytical and logical thinking,
- Focus on given objectives, good priority understanding,
- Ability to handle large amount of information and structure it,
- Good analytical, problem-solving, attention to details,
- Interpersonal and communication skills to work in an international team,
- Ability to work independently, as well as in an international and multi skilled team
- Excellent oral and written English,
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools.
Additional skill that are advantageous:
- Experience in open-source research,
- Professional or academic experience in commodities and environmental markets and policy,
- Ability to independently drive parts of larger projects,
- Experience with databases, Excel skills,
- Customer support experience,
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, PowerBI.
You will have a chance to learn about different types of commodities and their meaning in finance world, e.g: gas flow, power outages, components of weather forecast or emissions trading but also you will gain knowledge about commodities exchanges, biggest energy operators and importance of renewables. Working in our team will develop your communication skills and broaden your awareness of our key industry themes, challenges and opportunities. Compensation Information:
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is between zł80,000 - zł128,000. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Bonus Plan (”bonus plan”). Target Bonus % will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
