We’re looking for a designer to join AppTweak’s Consultancy team and craft high-impact store assets for our clients (App Store & Google Play). You’ll be hands-on in production (screenshots, videos, in-app events, icons, CPPs, CSLs…), but you’ll also help us level up what we sell and how we deliver it: new service ideas, better ways of working, and templates/tools that help us scale.
What you’ll do
1) Client delivery (core of the job)
• Design and produce store assets end-to-end:
• App icons (iterations, concepting, refinements)
• Screenshots (full sets, localized variants, format adaptations)
• In-App Event assets (visuals + variants)
• Custom Product Pages (CPPs) and Custom Store Listings (CSLs) (concepts, creative sets, variants per intent/keyword/audience)
• Translate strategy into visuals: partner with consultants to turn insights (market, competitors, positioning, hypotheses) into creative directions and testable variants.
Ensure deliverables are client-ready: exported correctly, named cleanly, structured for easy implementation, and consistent across languages/devices.
2) Creative strategy support (consulting mindset)
• Help shape creative recommendations: messaging hierarchy, value props, narrative flow, visual system, and prioritization.
• Contribute to A/B testing plans: propose variants, define what changes and why, ensure learnings are documented and reusable.
• Bring “outside-in” inspiration: trends, patterns, category best practices, and fresh approaches clients wouldn’t think of.
3) Scale: templates, tools, and process
• Build and maintain templates that raise quality and speed:
• Figma libraries / components for common screenshot layouts
• Video intro/outro packs, motion presets, subtitle systems
• Slide / report visuals and reusable deliverable sections
• Identify and roll out new tools (including AI-assisted ones) that help us produce, localize, version, and QA assets faster, plus document workflows so the team can adopt them.
• Improve our internal “production engine”: asset organization, file conventions, QA checklists, handover packages, and scalable localization workflows.
4) Service innovation
• Help create/refine consulting offers that combine strategy + production, e.g.:
• Creative audit + redesign sprint
• CPP/CSL strategy + production program
• Always-on creative testing roadmap
• Localization/culturalization creative packages
• Training/workshops for client design teams (“Designing for ASO”)
• App preview videos / promo videos (motion design, editing, captions)
