Requirements:
•

5+ years of experience in Python backend development, with strong ownership of API-driven systems and demonstrated ability to architect scalable microservices.

•

Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI (or similar modern Python frameworks) and OpenAPI specifications, including designing and implementing production-grade REST APIs.

•

Expert-level Object-Oriented Design and Programming skills:

Strong understanding of SOLID principles and maintainable object-oriented and modular design patterns.

▪

Interface-based programming using abstract base classes and dependency injection patterns.

▪

Generic types and advanced type hints for type-safe, self-documenting code.

▪

Experience with design patterns (Factory, Strategy, Repository, etc.) in production systems.

•

Deep understanding of RESTful API design, versioning strategies, and documentation practices with proven ability to maintain backward compatibility and manage API evolution.

•

Solid experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs such as SQLAlchemy, including query optimization, transaction management, and database schema design.

•

Practical experience with asynchronous programming in Python (async/await, background tasks, threads, task queues) for handling concurrent requests and long-running operations.

•

Strong experience designing validation and schema systems using Pydantic, including custom validators and complex nested data structures.

•

Experience with testing frameworks (pytest, unittest) and ability to write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

•

Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and deployment practices in cloud environments. Strong understanding of security best practices including authentication,

authorization, input validation, and API security.

•

Experience with Azure services (Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB) and cloud-based infrastructure deployment.

•

Practical experience integrating with Databricks for data processing, analytics, and ML workflows.

Nice-to-Have:

•

Experience connecting backend systems with AI agents, GenAI applications, or LLM-based services; familiar with prompt engineering and AI service integration patterns.
