The Manager, Learning Experience role is responsible for the managing the entire learning experience team for Baxter. This includes learning technologies and integration, learning curation and learning analytics. This role sets the direction and provides the vision of this team. This role leads spearheads and leads the initiatives based on the vision and guiding principles

• Provide vision and lead the learning experience team.

• Provide Thought leadership and lead initiatives that bring innovative learning technologies to Baxter

• Provide oversight and direction to the team

• Develop and foster a working environment that enables and empowers team members to make independent decisions.

Plan and allocate resources to effectively accomplish the work to meet team goals

• Technical Expertise:  Knowledge of learning technology vendors and tools (e.g., content authoring tools, mobile and social tools, measurement and analytics tools, SOAP based integrations, LMS, LCMS, etc.),

• Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of labor laws and data privacy requirements as applicable to learning technology

• Learning Development:  Knowledge of processes, tools, and practices for developing a solution to stated learning needs

• Knowledge Management:  Knowledge of the process and tools for capturing, organizing, and using individual and organizational intellectual assets

• Interpersonal Relationships:  Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for working with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner

• Decision Making and Critical Thinking:  Knowledge of tools and techniques for effective use of a broad range of methods, assumptions, frameworks, and perspectives when solving problems

• Planning:  Ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1–2 years), and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of business plans and strategies

• Organization Skills:  Ability to manage multiple priorities and to know when to escalate issues for resolution

• Oral and Written Communications:  Ability to express oneself to provide information to others effectively and in a succinct manner

• Program Management:  Strong program, project and process management skills

• L&D Policies, Standards, and Procedures:  Knowledge of and ability to use industry and organization standards, procedures, and policies relevant to learning

• Global Mindset: Convey respect for different perspectives, leverage diverse contributions and adapt behaviour to accommodate others

Education

• Required: Bachelor’s / Undergraduate degree or country equivalent

• Preferred:  Degree or certification in technology / learning technology or comparable field of study

Experience

• Required: 6-8 years of experience selecting, implementing, managing, and/or maintaining learning technologies

Preferred:  Experience in emerging learning technology solutions, experience in a learning or technology organization for a global or multi-national business setting
