is looking for a Residential Construction Technician for various aspects of residential construction projects. This candidate will be a crucial member of the team by performing the work of our residential construction projects. This is a daily "get dirty" job, but has the potential to grow into a leadership role. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in finishing sheet rock, installing insulation, carpet, framing, painting, flooring, cabinets, and trim. Must have advanced experience working with hand tools.
Responsibilities:
Work on all aspects of residential construction projects.
Manage the installation of batt insulation, hanging of sheetrock (both 1/2 and 5/8), and proficiently finish and spray texture as needed.
Conduct painting tasks for both interior and exterior surfaces, including cabinets, ensuring high-quality finishes.
Provide guidance and supervision to team members/helpers, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in residential construction, with a strong proficiency in installing batt insulation, hanging and finishing sheetrock, spraying texture, and painting (interior, exterior, and cabinets).
Ability to work in dusty, dirty, and foul odor environments.
Ability to work within a team promoting teamwork and productivity.
Thorough understanding of construction techniques, materials, and tools.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, for clear collaboration with team members and subcontractors.
Capability to interpret blueprints and follow project specifications accurately.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
Physical ability to lift and handle objects weighing up to 50-75 lbs.
Capacity to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
