**This position will be working onsite on projects in Charlotte/Winston-Salem surrounding areas, but you will report to individuals in our Raleigh, North Carolina office**
Overview:
Here at RA Holdings Group, we are looking for a Construction Superintendent that supervises projects from project planning to completion, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints.
Responsibilities:
This position is primarily a field related role visiting job sites and meeting with customers.
Responsible for maintaining customer relationships and project management in accordance with the Retro contract administration policy.
Reviews contracts with the RD.
Ensures accurate scope and schedule conditions. Ensures fair payment and retainage terms are negotiated.
Selects and manages subcontractors. Works with the BA to ensure all required subcontractor paperwork is received.
Ensures necessary job paperwork is properly maintained.
Maintains necessary project communications.
Creates schedules of value and works with the PMA to ensure timely invoicing.
Coordinates scope and schedule on projects.
Responsible for ensuring all proper job permits are obtained.
Works with the PMA to ensure required submittals and work plans are submitted and returned.
Works with the PMA to ensure all project closeout documents are submitted and approved.
Conducts after-action reviews of selected projects with the RD.
Provides oversight and mentoring of subordinate PMs.
Understands and complies with the requirements of company IT and cybersecurity policies.
Provides feedback to Estimating Department through lessons-learned and financial performance of jobs.
Responsible for implementation and management of the RETROAIM environmental, safety, and health program on their projects and among their workforces.
Complete initial accident documenting on project.
Approves project level expenditures less than $500.00.
Coordinates with Operations Managers on staffing and project needs to ensure project deadlines and requirements are met.
Attends weekly project meetings as required in coordination with Operations Manager.
Ensure project team has tools and equipment to be successful.
Maintain project labor, material, and equipment budgets.
Responsible for safeguarding the company’s reputation and for maintaining brand quality at the project level.
