Construction Site Superintendent

We are looking for a Jobsite Superintendent to oversee daily construction operations for commercial building projects in the East Petersburg, Pennsylvania area. This role is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring all work is completed safely and according to project specifications. The superintendent will serve as the primary on-site leader, working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and field teams to keep projects on track from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily jobsite operations and manage field construction activities

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to maintain project schedules

• Ensure all work meets project plans, specifications, and quality standards

• Monitor jobsite safety and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements

• Communicate regularly with project managers regarding project progress, scheduling, and field conditions

• Review construction drawings and coordinate field execution with subcontractors

• Track project milestones and identify potential schedule delays or field issues

• Maintain jobsite documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and progress updates

• Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience as a construction superintendent or field supervisor

• Experience managing commercial construction projects

• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing jobsite schedules

• Knowledge of construction safety standards and jobsite compliance requirements

• Strong communication and leadership skills in a field environment

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain project timelines
