Rich & Sons is a family-owned company providing Commercial Plumbing, Process Piping, Site Utilities and Municipal Service throughout Illinois and is seeking a full-time Construction Project Manager. We are looking for a career-minded person who is looking for a long-term position with a great company.

Essential Functions:
Attend turn-over meetings and understand in detail the scope of each job
Create billing breakdown for each job
Complete submittals
Complete plan fabrication
Handle and plan for all material and equipment for a job in coordination with the Warehouse Manager and Heavy Equipment Manager
Request buy pricing from vendors, select vendors, and order materials
Maintain accurate records of operations, including project timelines, costs, and safety compliance
Schedule company resources which includes: manpower, equipment, tools, and materials
Manage the construction schedule for all jobs
Coordinate with any other trades on the job
Manage change orders and RFIs
Investigate and handle any issues that arise through to resolution
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years construction project management experience; mechanical/plumbing industry experience preferred
Professional demeanor with integrity, accountability, and pride in work
Strong teamwork skills and respect for project and organizational leadership
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong math ability and attention to detail
Ability to plan strategically, organize resources, and deliver projects on time and on budget
Skilled at problem-solving, analyzing issues, and making sound, fiscally responsible decisions
Comfortable working under pressure and with diverse groups (engineers, architects, subcontractors, inspectors)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Physical Demands:
