The Construction Project Coordinator provides critical support to Project Managers and field teams to ensure the successful execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for coordinating project documentation, tracking procurement and subcontractor commitments, managing submittals and RFIs, and maintaining accurate financial and schedule data within project management systems.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. This position plays an important role in facilitating communication between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to help keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
Support Project Managers in all phases of construction from preconstruction through closeout
Manage and maintain project documentation including submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and logs
Assist with subcontractor procurement, bid tracking, and buyout processes
Prepare and track change orders, commitments, and invoice approvals
Maintain accurate project financial data in Procore and Sage (or similar ERP systems)
Track project schedules, deliverables, and milestone deadlines
Communicate with field teams, accounting, logistics, vendors, and clients to resolve project issues
Assist with project closeout including punch list coordination, warranties, and turnover documentation
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in commercial construction coordination or project support
Strong understanding of construction workflows, procurement, and job cost tracking
Experience with Procore strongly preferred
ERP experience such as Sage 300 CRE or similar is a plus
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
