Job Description
RUSH Construction, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Administrator to support our project management and field teams. This role is responsible for coordinating administrative aspects of construction projects, maintaining project documentation, and helping ensure projects run efficiently from pre-construction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to Project Managers and field personnel
Maintain and organize project documentation including contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and drawings
Track project schedules, deliverables, and deadlines
Assist with subcontractor and vendor communication and documentation
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and project reports
Process invoices, purchase orders, and pay applications
Maintain document control systems and ensure proper version tracking
Coordinate permit applications and compliance documentation when required
Assist with project closeout documentation including warranties, manuals, and final records
Support internal reporting and project cost tracking
Qualifications
2+ years of administrative experience in the construction industry preferred
Strong organizational and document management skills
Experience with construction documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders) preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with project management or construction software (Procore, MS Project, etc.) is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Must be a U.S. Citizen with clean background check.
Education
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
