About Your Role
The Construction Management Inspector provides on-site inspection, documentation, and oversight of construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes, and project requirements and MWAA standards. This role supports the project team by monitoring contractor work, documenting progress, and verifying that all construction activities meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Inspector plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with design intent and client expectations while minimizing operational impacts in active environments.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done
5 to 10 years of construction inspection experience, preferably in aviation or infrastructure projects
Knowledge of IBC, NFPA, and applicable codes
Ability to read plans, specifications, and submittals
Strong communication and documentation skills
What You’ll Do
Perform QA/QC inspections on civil, airfield, terminal, utility, and landside projects
Conduct building code and compliance inspections
Monitor contractor work for adherence to plans and specifications
Maintain daily reports, inspection logs, and progress documentation
Support materials testing and field verification
Assist with as-built documentation and field measurements
Coordinate with airport stakeholders to minimize operational impacts
Ensure compliance with MWAA safety and AOA requirements
