Summary
Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Construction Labourer is responsible for the maintenance and appearance of our homes, job sites and community.
Responsibilities
Assist in quality control of all homes constructed in a project
Adherence to building code and corporate safety requirements on all sites
General labour functions such as site clean-up and maintenance as needed throughout our job sites and community
Assist in performing touch ups and repairs on sub-trade deficiencies
Assist in minor carpentry work throughout the entire home building process
Proficient knowledge and use of power tools such as air nailers, skill saw, screw gun
Experience or willingness to be trained on skid steer loader is an asset
Experience or willingness to be trained on equipment operation is an asset
Other tasks as required by the site foreman
Requirements
Prior building construction experience is required
Safety training an asset
Completion of high school diploma is an asset
Team contributor and willingness to learn
Good verbal communication skills
Knowledge of safe work practices and safe job procedures
Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license to get to the project site
