Construction Labourer

Do you want to learn how to build fences? As long as you want to learn and are willing to work long days outside in the cold, heat, wind and rain, we will train you! We are a growing fence installation company looking to add a Labourer to our team!

Duties:

Work on a fencing crew of 2-3 people installing chain-link, ornamental, wood and vinyl fences 

Travel throughout the province

Keep safe and clean job sites

Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas

Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt

Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities

Assist in drilling and blasting rock at construction sites

Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment

Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.

Requirements:

1 year experience in construction

Comfortable working with hand tools

Valid driver’s license and own transportation
